Your Dream Holiday Can Come True In… Kenya!

You might be excited about choosing Kenya as your preferred vacation destination, but also not sure how the vacation will go if you have never ventured there before. A wonderful vacation in Kenya is definitely possible…all you need to do is to plan ahead.

  • Hotel selection – Kenya has a number of hotels good and leisurely in its own standards. However, it often is best to select a venue that is not too common if you’re looking to relax, as they tend to be overcrowded and thus you will not have peace and privacy. Make a list of your top choices and peruse through the client views of each venue on the Internet to make an informed choice.
  • Enroll for packages – This is a sure way of having fun while still cost cutting. Different hotels have different packages for their client’s interests. It’s possible to get that dream spa treatment, massages, and sauna for a much reduced cost if all are purchased as a whole. Relax and spoil yourself. You are there on holiday, after all.

Limousine Riding Etiquette And Advice

There are a number of occasions that require the hire of a special limousine, airport runs being one of them. These are normally done for pure luxury or safety purposes, or both. Here is how to get the most appropriate limousine service to and from any airport:

  • To start with, settle for an airport limo service that is in proper sync with your travel plans. To be precise, the hired airport limousine should be where it is supposed to be on or upon your arrival.
  • Check on the driver’s professionalism. In simple terms, check whether the company’s chauffeurs are registered with the proper regulating bodies. And while at it, ensure that they are in possession of the right and updated operational licenses, including driver’s licenses.
  • Check the details (make, year of manufacture, model, etc.) of the available limos for hire to ensure your selection is really what you want.
  • Before settling for any of the available service providers, seek references and recommendations from previous users.

How Much Home Do You Need When Traveling?

We’ve touched upon the subject before in previous posts, but today I am doing a lot of reflection about what travel means to me and wondering what it means to others. Do you travel to get completely away from what you know, or are there some creature comforts that are important for you to have when you go away? With globalization, internet and the huge amount of information available to travelers, sometimes it feels like it’s possible to see the same things everywhere you go.

Shore Excursions on your Cruise
Part of the excitement of travelling by sea is seeing a foreign port. Somehow, approaching an exotic location at a leisurely pace and seeing a new coastline unfold from sea level is, in my opinion, much more satisfying than landing in an airplane. I’ve found airports have a certain sameness about them.

Gift Cards for Travel?

Travel Magazine
Lots of people buy gift cards every year. Not a lot of people think about getting gift cards for travel. Sure it’s easy to go find yourself some gift cards to buy little Susie a new iPod or download 20 songs off of iTunes, but the expanse of gift cards available is probably bigger than you’d think. There are a lot of destination locations themselves that will offer gift cards good for a variety of local establishments including restaurants, hotels, and rental cars. Not a bad thing to give to someone who has their heart set on hitting up a destination (when you can’t afford to buy them the trip yourself!)
